New Cafe in OC
A.OK Coffee, a cafe brand that started in Busan, Korea, has newly opened in La Habra. The spacious and minimalistic space was neatly organized without any clutter, and the high ceiling added to the refreshing impression. During my visit, the cafe was bustling with customers, creating a lively atmosphere, yet it was also a perfect place to sit back and spend time leisurely or to stop by for a quick cup of coffee.
During this visit, I enjoyed the A.OK Einspanner, Mango Tango w/ Matcha Cream, Truffle Honey Cream Matcha along with a Dubai Chewy Cookie and a Morning Bun. The A.OK Einspanner left a balanced impression from the first sip, with the rich coffee harmonizing smoothly with the cream on top. It wasn’t overly sweet, allowing the contrast between the cream and coffee to feel natural, and the aftertaste was relatively clean.
The Mango Tango w/ Matcha Cream featured a refreshing mango base topped with matcha cream, where the mango had a smooth and rich texture reminiscent of a smoothie. The freshness of the fruit and the bitterness of the matcha blended seamlessly, making it easy to drink and surprisingly harmonious. The Truffle Honey Cream Matcha initially felt unfamiliar with the combination of truffle and matcha, but the subtle aroma and sweetness of honey created an unexpectedly attractive balance. It tasted like a new layer added to familiar matcha. The Dubai Chewy Cookie had a chewy yet crispy texture at its core, while the Morning Bun was baked to a crisp outside and moist inside, with a gentle cinnamon aroma and sweetness. The not overly heavy sweetness paired well with the coffee, and the combination of the pastry and cream-based drink felt natural, giving the overall experience a stable feel.

A.OK Coffee was a cafe where you could enjoy a variety of signature drinks and desserts in a spacious and minimalistic environment. While maintaining the essence of a brand that started in Busan, it had an impressive atmosphere that felt naturally integrated into the local area. It was a place that combined a vibrant space with a stable menu, making it a spot to consider when you want to start your day calmly in La Habra.
