Cafe Mogoo

A Variety of Drinks and Bites

Located in Koreatown, Cafe Mogoo is a casual cafe that is perfect for enjoying light meals and drinks together. The establishment has ample indoor and outdoor seating, creating a relaxed atmosphere even when there are many customers. It feels bustling yet not noisy, making it a great space to stop by and spend some time comfortably.

On this day, I chose the menu focusing on MogooDog (Sausage), Bulgogi Sandwich, and Strawberry Greek Yogurt Bowl. The MogooDog is a menu item where you can choose between sausage and bulgogi, with the savory flavor of the sausage providing a solid base, while the jalapeños add a subtle spiciness that keeps it interesting. It may seem simple, but the flavor points are clear, making it suitable for a light snack or a meal. The Bulgogi Sandwich was packed and satisfying enough for a full meal, and the combination of sweet bulgogi and pesto surprisingly complemented each other, creating a good overall balance. The Strawberry Greek Yogurt Bowl offered a refreshing blend of strawberries and yogurt, making it a great choice to accompany the other dishes.

For drinks, I tried the Mojito Latte and Yuzu Matcha Tonic. The Mojito Latte combined coffee with a refreshing mint flavor, making it lighter than expected, while the Yuzu Matcha Tonic harmoniously blended the freshness of yuzu with the bitterness of matcha, making it a great choice even after a meal. Overall, both the drinks and food were well-balanced without being excessive.
