ChaHalo, located in Rowland Heights, is a casual tea specialty shop with ample seating both inside and outside, making it a comfortable place to stay. Even when I visited, there were quite a few customers, but the speed of ordering and drink preparation was quick, and the space was well organized, creating a relaxed atmosphere.
On that day, I tasted a variety of drinks, including the Triple Tea Cup, which features three classic tea bases with different flavors, as well as the ChaHalo Black Milk Tea Frappe topped with organic whipped cream and the Berry Flavored Rock Oolong Milk Tea Frappe.
The Triple Tea Cup is a menu item that allows you to enjoy Premium Jasmine Green Milk Tea, Osmanthus Oolong Milk Tea, and Dark Milk Tea all at once, with each tea’s aroma and depth distinctly separated, making it a fun drinking experience. The jasmine tea had a clean and subtle fragrance, the osmanthus oolong had a soft floral aroma, and the dark milk tea provided a richer flavor that balanced the overall experience. Each tea was served in a differently colored cup, making it visually appealing, and if you want to compare the signature teas of this place at once, the Triple Tea Cup would be an especially good choice.
The frappe options, ChaHalo Black Milk Tea Frappe and Berry Flavored Rock Oolong Milk Tea Frappe, maintained the unique characteristics of their tea bases while being made smoother with the whipped cream and sprinkles on top. Despite being called frappes, they weren’t overly sweet, making them easy to drink, and especially the Berry Flavored Rock Oolong Milk Tea Frappe left a refreshing impression with its tangy berry aroma harmonizing beautifully with the deep flavor of the oolong tea.
