Disneyland Park
It has been a while since I last visited Disneyland. Last time, I went to Disney California Adventure, but this time I headed to Disneyland Park, where you can feel the original Disney vibe the most. Opened in 1955, this iconic space was directly conceived by Walt Disney himself, enveloped in a classic atmosphere and fairy-tale scenery throughout the park. From the moment you enter Disneyland Park, you can feel its unique classic vibe; as you walk along Main Street, parades unfold, and you naturally encounter characters everywhere. The Sleeping Beauty Castle, located at the center of the park, is an iconic space representing Disneyland, creating a bright and lovely atmosphere during the day and a more fairy-tale-like scene at night with its lights.

The attractions at Disneyland also have their unique charm. From classic dark rides to thrilling rides, there is a wide variety available, with Pirates of the Caribbean, Space Mountain, and Indiana Jones Adventure being particularly popular attractions. The storytelling is well-developed, making you feel like you are stepping into a scene rather than just riding a ride. Park usage is managed through the official Disney mobile app, so it’s a good idea to download the app in advance. You can check ticket registration, wait times, maps, and mobile orders all in one place, which helps with planning your route. If you want to efficiently enjoy popular attractions, considering the Genie+ option might be worthwhile. Especially during peak seasons or weekends, wait times can be long, so entering early in the morning to enjoy the main rides first is much more relaxed.

In the afternoon, parades and character events unfold everywhere. The parade featuring classic characters is a moment to truly feel the traditional atmosphere unique to Disneyland. It’s a great time to take a break or capture some photos. You can also check the parade times on the app, making it convenient to plan your movements. When night falls, the atmosphere of the park changes once again. The Sleeping Beauty Castle Fireworks is a representative night program of Disneyland, where fireworks and music set against the castle complete the day. It’s advisable to arrive a bit early to secure a good spot, but no matter where you watch from, you can fully feel the unique Disney vibe.

Snacks and food are another fun aspect of visiting Disneyland. You can easily find churros, ice cream, and seasonal limited desserts throughout the park, and the menu changes slightly with each season. Most food items can be ordered via mobile, allowing you to avoid long lines. It’s great for a quick bite between attractions, and the themed visuals make for excellent photo opportunities. If you want to fully experience the classic Disney vibe, Disneyland Park is always a great choice. With landscapes that look like scenes from a fairy tale, beloved attractions that have stood the test of time, and fireworks lighting up the night sky, it was a fulfilling and enjoyable time that passed by in a flash. How about experiencing once again the world that only existed in your childhood imagination, this time at Disneyland?
The Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration
Disneyland is a Disney theme park located in Anaheim, California, and it has consistently been loved by visitors from around the world. It consists of two theme parks, Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure, along with Disney hotels and various shopping and dining facilities in Downtown Disney. Personally, I have visited this place several times, and since this year marks the 70th anniversary of Disneyland, I decided to visit again as there are various events and limited food offerings planned.

Disneyland Park is filled with classic Disney charm, where you can meet familiar characters from Mickey Mouse to fairy tale princesses and enjoy traditional attractions. In contrast, Disney California Adventure has a more modern and active atmosphere, featuring attractions themed around Marvel, Pixar, and more, with vibrant setups. For this visit, we chose Disney California Adventure. Park entry is managed through the official Disney mobile app, so it’s essential to download the app before your visit. You can register tickets, check attraction information, view maps, and place mobile orders, making it very helpful for planning your route. If you want to efficiently enjoy popular attractions with long wait times, utilizing the Genie+ option is also a good idea. While it does incur an additional fee, it’s worth considering if you want to enjoy the park at a leisurely pace. Since the number of visitors tends to increase in the afternoon, I recommend entering early in the morning to enjoy the main attractions first.

Among the various attractions, the Radiator Springs Racers, which is very popular and personally my favorite, tends to have long lines early in the day, so it’s best to visit it first. In addition, there are a variety of attractions with game elements or thrills, such as the Incredicoaster, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Toy Story Mania, so planning your route in advance can help you enjoy your day much more fully. In the afternoon, parades and character greeting events are often held throughout the park, and the Pixar Pals parade, in particular, is a moment not to be missed if you’re with kids, as you can see various Pixar characters up close. You can check the exact times and locations on the Disney app, so it’s a good idea to coordinate your schedule accordingly. It’s also a perfect time to take a break and enjoy at a leisurely pace.
Additionally, the ‘World of Color’ show that takes place at night is one outdoor performance you can’t miss. This show, which combines fountains, lights, lasers, and music, is a signature night program of California Adventure and is perfect for wrapping up the day. If you make a reservation in advance through the Disney app or a restaurant package, you can watch from the front, and even if you don’t have a reservation, you can still enjoy it from the back or sides, so there’s no need to feel too pressured. However, since it’s a popular show, it’s advisable to arrive early to secure a good spot.

Throughout the park, there are various snacks and foods themed to match the attractions, making it easy to enjoy them while taking a break between rides. I tried a limited edition churro released to celebrate the 70th anniversary, which looked very sweet but was surprisingly not overwhelming, offering a subtle sweetness that made it enjoyable without any burden. The crispy exterior and chewy interior were satisfying, and the unique Disney charm added an element of fun that made it more than just a simple snack. In addition, there are various desserts and snacks like ice cream and shakes, perfect for enjoying on a hot day. The menu changes slightly with each season, so there’s also the fun of discovering new items every time you visit. Most foods can be ordered via mobile order through the Disney app, so if you want to avoid long lines, I recommend ordering in advance. By effectively utilizing meal times, you can enjoy your meals without waiting, allowing for a more relaxed flow and a much more efficient overall schedule.

With the unique Disney charm, the park is filled with a variety of attractions, parades, and limited menu items. The time spent was so fulfilling and enjoyable that I hardly noticed how quickly the day passed. How about creating your own Disney memories this season in a place where childhood dreams come to life?
