The beef has distinct characteristics depending on the cut, making it fun to compare each one. The Small Beef Combo we chose includes Brisket, Boneless Short Rib, Rib Eye, Finger Meat, and Marinated Boneless Short Rib in that order. The thinly sliced Brisket is great for quick grilling, making it tender and flavorful, while the Boneless Short Rib stands out with its juicy moisture and soft texture. The Rib Eye is rich in juices and has a savory flavor, and the Finger Meat offers a deep meaty aroma and chewy texture that is appealing. The Marinated Boneless Short Rib has a sweet and salty seasoning that penetrates the meat, providing a different charm from the raw meat tasted earlier. The grilled Webfoot Octopus pairs well with its spicy seasoning and chewy texture, making it enjoyable between bites of meat. Accompanied by Corn Cheese, Steamed Egg, and Bean Paste, and finishing with Kimchi Fried Rice, this meal offers a wide range of flavors from meat to sides to the main course.
The side dishes also complement the meat well. The Corn Cheese is nutty and sweet, making it a great accompaniment to the rich meat, and the fluffy, soft Steamed Egg is easy to enjoy without any burden. The Doenjang Jjigae (soybean paste stew) is served on a separate burner, allowing it to stay warm throughout the meal, which I particularly appreciate as it lets you enjoy hot broth until the end. We finished the meal with Kimchi Fried Rice, which completes the hearty dining experience with its spicy and savory fried rice.
