Koreatown’s Newest Cozy Cafe
Koffeeski, the newly opened cafe in Koreatown, offers a variety of options including coffee, matcha, smoothies, and a selection of pastries and bagels. With its spacious layout, comfortable seating, warm yellow lighting, and wooden-toned interior, it’s a great place to relax and enjoy some leisure time.
We chose the signature menu item, Banana Kick Cream Latte, along with Ube and Matcha Cream Lattes, and ordered Nutella Croissant and Sugar Bun as pastries. Both the drinks and pastries looked delicious, and each had its own unique charm, making it fun to taste them one by one.
First, the Banana Kick Cream Latte, the signature drink here, featured a sweet and nutty flavor reminiscent of banana kicks, with a subtle banana aroma that blended well with the creaminess of the latte. The Ube latte had a unique nutty yet sweet flavor that melted smoothly, with a beautiful color and a comforting sweetness that spread in the mouth with each sip. It was a cup with a gentle yet deep flavor that encouraged slow savoring. The Matcha Cream Latte showcased a harmonious balance with the slightly bitter taste of matcha topped with smooth cream. It was not overly heavy, had a pleasant weight, and finished cleanly, making it easy to enjoy.
The Nutella Croissant had a crispy exterior and a chewy interior, filled just right with Nutella, so each bite released a sweet chocolate flavor in the mouth. It was not overly heavy, yet the rich chocolate appeal was alive, making it a great pairing with coffee or lattes. The Sugar Bun had an evenly coated sugary surface, providing a crispy first texture that was impressive, while the inside was soft and moist, making for a satisfying simple combination. Its subtle sweetness was attractive and surprisingly addictive, making you want to reach for more.
