Hearty Korean Noodles
Located in Koreatown, Miari Noodle House is a restaurant where you can enjoy a variety of Korean dishes in a warm and casual atmosphere. The signature menu item is the kalguksu, which is packed with fresh clams and seafood, loved by many for its rich and refreshing broth. In addition, it offers familiar dishes to Koreans such as gukbap, kimchi jeon, and acorn jelly salad, attracting locals with generous portions, quick service, and a comforting home-cooked taste.

When I visited the restaurant, it was already bustling with many customers, which made it clear that it is a popular spot that has been loved for a long time. During this visit, I ordered a variety of dishes including the Clam Casserole, which offers a warm and deep flavor, the Kimchi & Clam Kalguksu with its refreshing and spicy broth, the Acorn Jelly with its light and clean taste, and the Boiled Dumpling filled with a delicate stuffing. I was able to enjoy a range of flavors from hearty soups to light sides, experiencing the diverse charms of Miari Noodle House all in one place.

The Clam Casserole is a hot pot filled with clams, and from the moment it started boiling, a refreshing and deep aroma filled the air. The broth was clean yet savory, and the addition of the clams enhanced the unique refreshing taste of seafood. Thanks to the generous portion, I was able to enjoy my favorite clams to the fullest, which made me even more satisfied. The Kimchi & Clam Kalguksu was a noodle dish where the spiciness of the kimchi blended perfectly with the freshness of the clams. The broth had a slightly spicy flavor that made it refreshing, but it wasn’t too spicy, making it enjoyable for anyone. The chewy noodles paired well with the broth, adding depth to every bite, and the abundance of clams enriched the flavor of the broth even more. It was a great option for those looking for a spicy yet light taste.
The Acorn Jelly is a cold dish served with a sweet and sour broth filled with acorn jelly and fresh vegetables. The smooth texture of the jelly was refreshing, and the combination of cucumber, cabbage, and apple enhanced the coolness even more. The broth was tangy yet clean, making it a great accompaniment to heavier dishes, and the addition of chopped kimchi kept my palate refreshed until the very end. It was a dish that paired especially well with hot weather. The Boiled Dumpling was filled with a delicate stuffing wrapped in chewy dough, and with one bite, the savory flavor burst forth along with the juices. It was cooked cleanly without being greasy, making it easy to enjoy, and its light taste complemented the soup dishes well. The dumplings, served warm, had a satisfying chewiness, making it a highly satisfying side dish. Lastly, the barley bibimbap that was served as a taste was impressive. The barley rice was fluffy with a nutty flavor, accompanied by young radish kimchi and bean sprouts, offering a light yet savory taste. When the seasoning sauce was added, it felt clean yet had the warmth of home-cooked food, and although it was a small side dish, it brought great satisfaction. I found myself wanting to order this dish properly on my next visit.
