Sun Tea Hollywood
Sun Tea, which has newly opened in Hollywood, is the second location following the Montebello branch. The space that has just completed its Grand Opening features a minimalist interior complemented by warm lighting, creating an overall cozy atmosphere. The tidy and uncluttered interior was perfect for enjoying drinks in a calm setting, making it an inviting place to stop by for a quick drink.

This time, I ordered Brown Sugar Boba Fresh Milk, Brulee Boba Milk Tea, Grape Boom Tea, Passion Mango Boom Tea, and Tiramisu Toriyaki. The Brown Sugar Boba Fresh Milk had a smooth blend of sweet brown sugar syrup and milk, while the chewy boba provided a nice texture. The Brulee Boba Milk Tea offered a creaminess with a subtle sweetness, creating a pleasantly soft impression, and the overall balance was stable.
The Boom Tea line distinctly showcased the freshness of the fruits. The Grape Boom Tea had a clear and refreshing aroma, while the Passion Mango Boom Tea balanced sweetness and tartness well. The sweetness was not overwhelming, making it easy to drink, and it was perfect for sharing multiple cups. The Tiramisu Toriyaki, a newly added menu item, had a soft exterior and a moist filling that complemented the drinks nicely. The dessert was not overly sweet, harmonizing well with the milk tea and helping to round out the overall experience.

New Matcha Series
During my last visit, I introduced drinks and desserts filled with fresh fruits, and this time I went to taste the newly launched New Matcha Series to experience another charm of Sun Tea. Having previously enjoyed a variety of teas, my anticipation for these new drinks was even greater. This time, I chose four menu items: Fresh Banana Matcha, Fresh Strawberry Matcha, Espresso Matcha, Coconut Matcha, along with Blueberry Cheese Dorayaki.

Fresh Banana Matcha was hearty and enjoyable with the smooth and sweet flavor of banana, while Fresh Strawberry Matcha showcased a balanced taste with the refreshing tartness of strawberry blending with the bitterness of matcha. Espresso Matcha added a unique charm with the rich aroma of coffee meeting matcha, and Coconut Matcha finished smoothly with its nutty and subtle sweetness. Personally, the drink I liked the most from this series was Fresh Banana Matcha, as its smooth and sweet flavor was impressive. The Blueberry Cheese Dorayaki that I paired with it was a dessert that complemented the drinks well, with the fluffy texture harmonizing the refreshing blueberries and creamy cheese. The newly introduced New Matcha Series offered a chance to experience the various charms of matcha all in one place, and the fun of comparing their different personalities made for a satisfying time. From rich matcha to smooth and sweet combinations, why not visit Sun Tea if you want to enjoy a variety of styles that suit your taste?
Charming Boba Shop
Located in Montebello, Sun Tea is a café specializing in a variety of teas and fruit drinks, using fresh fruits in all its menu items. They introduce new combinations each season, offering a wide range of options from Fresh Fruit Tea to Boba & Fresh Milk, and Cheese Tea. The pastel-toned, stylish interior and comfortable atmosphere make it a great space to spend time alone or to drop by with friends.

During this visit, I chose several types of drinks and desserts to enjoy the various charms of Sun Tea all at once. I started with the Venti Fresh Fruit Tea, followed by Mango Grapefruit Boom Tea, Coconut Pudding Mango, and the seasonal limited menu item, Cheese Cherry Boom Tea, and I also tasted the Strawberry Cheese Dorayaki for dessert.

Fresh Fruit Tea was packed with a variety of fresh fruits like watermelon, mango, strawberry, and lemon, filling my mouth with fruity aromas. The coolness of the watermelon, the smooth sweetness of the mango, the subtle fragrance of the strawberry, and the refreshing tartness of the lemon blended together, making each sip refreshing. With the addition of fruit pulp, there was also a fun texture to chew on, and being a venti size, it was a generous serving that could be enjoyed cool for a long time. The Mango Grapefruit Boom Tea first presented the popping texture and tartness of grapefruit pulp, followed by the rich and smooth sweetness of mango that balanced it out. The alternating freshness and sweetness filled my mouth, making each sip feel refreshing.
Coconut Pudding Mango offered a smooth and moist coconut pudding that spread in the mouth, giving the sensation of sipping a soft dessert along with sweet mango. Personally, I love coconut pudding, so this drink felt even more appealing, and the subtle coconut aroma that lingered in the sweetness left a lasting impression. Cheese Cherry Boom Tea featured a creamy and rich cheese foam that added a nutty flavor, while the tartness of the cherry followed, providing a clean finish to the drink. The first sip revealed the creamy texture unique to the cheese foam, and as I continued to drink, the freshness of the cherry gradually emerged, balancing sweetness and acidity. Enjoying it cold with ice made the softness of the cheese foam and the refreshing taste of the cherry stand out even more, making it a special drink worthy of a seasonal menu. The accompanying Strawberry Cheese Dorayaki was filled with refreshing strawberry cream cheese inside a fluffy dorayaki, and with every bite, the sweet and smooth flavor spread. Thanks to its moderate sweetness, it paired well with fruity drinks and was a dessert that could be finished cleanly until the end.
