Premium Omakase Experience
Sushi Hana, which recently opened in Koreatown, offers a wide range of fresh sushi and sashimi, as well as omakase, all in a clean and luxurious atmosphere where you can enjoy your meal comfortably. The sushi made with fresh ingredients and the neatly arranged omakase enhance the overall quality of the dining experience, making it a satisfying choice for sushi lovers.

On this day, since it was our first visit, we decided to choose the Premium Hana Omakase to experience the entire menu. The course included Creamy Mushroom, Chawanmushi, Miso Eggplant, Agedashi Tofu, Assorted Tempura, House Salad, Miso Soup, 5 pieces of Sashimi, 10 pieces of Sushi, Toro Uni Bowl, and Udon, and we added Uni Cream Udon for an even more abundant experience.

The Creamy Mushroom that kicked off the omakase course was a delightful appetizer with its soft texture and rich creaminess, making it easy to enjoy. The Chawanmushi that followed had a unique softness with a subtle dashi flavor, finishing off with a clean taste. The Miso Eggplant featured moist eggplant paired with a savory miso sauce that harmoniously blended together, making it hard to resist. The Agedashi Tofu was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with a soy-based broth that soaked into the tofu, creating a warm sensation in the mouth.
The Assorted Tempura caught the eye with its visual appeal, and the crispy texture was particularly impressive as soon as you took a bite. The batter was not thick yet astonishingly crispy, creating a delightful crunch in the mouth. Overall, it was not greasy, allowing the natural flavors of the ingredients to shine through, and the quality of each piece of tempura stood out. The House Salad had a light and refreshing dressing that was not overpowering, helping to cleanse the palate, while the Miso Soup was also faithful to its basics, making it easy to enjoy.
The 5 pieces of Sashimi were cut thickly, providing a satisfying texture that filled the mouth, and the subtle sweetness and softness that can only be felt in fresh ingredients were impressive. Each ingredient’s unique flavor profile was distinctly alive, making it a dish to savor. The 10 pieces of Sushi were also exceptionally fresh, with a smooth and natural harmony with the rice, and the variety kept it interesting until the end. The Toro Uni Bowl combined the richness of tuna with the deep flavor of uni harmoniously, and wrapping it in the accompanying seaweed enhanced both the texture and flavor, increasing satisfaction. The combination of rice, ingredients, and seaweed worked well together, allowing for a balanced enjoyment until the last bite.
The basic Udon had a clean broth with chewy noodles, making it a neat finish to the meal, while the additional Uni Cream Udon was a satisfying bowl with the rich flavor of uni blended into a thick cream sauce. The smooth and rich sauce clung well to the noodles, creating a feeling of fullness with each bite, and the unique deep umami of uni subtly permeated the dish, allowing for a rich taste without being overwhelming.
