Vivot Craft Cafe, located in Mission Viejo, is the second location that opened recently after Fullerton, and it has quickly become a popular cafe despite being newly opened. The store is spacious with a variety of seating arrangements, making it comfortable to stay for a while, and there is also a bar-style area where you can enjoy your time even if you visit alone. Even though I visited early in the morning, I could already feel the lively atmosphere with many customers, and it was evident that this place is rapidly gaining love in the local community.
During this visit, I chose the Matcha Flight Cream Clouds, which is the signature drink here and allows you to enjoy various flavors at once, selecting four flavors: OG (Salted Vanilla), Ube, Pandan, and Matchamisu. Each flavor was distinct and showcased different personalities, making it fun to compare them, while maintaining the rich flavor of matcha and allowing the aromas and tastes of each ingredient to blend naturally. All four were harmonious, but personally, I was most impressed by the sweet Pandan and the smooth Matchamisu. The Croffle with Powdered Sugar that I ordered alongside had a crispy exterior and a moist interior, pairing well with the drink thanks to its subtle sweetness. The Brando Sando is a simple yet hearty option for a meal, with creamy fillings like chicken and avocado harmonizing perfectly with the soft ciabatta bread, making it ideal for brunch.

I was able to relax in a clean space and appreciate the charm of different dishes, and especially the Matcha Flight left a strong impression with both its visuals and taste. Of course, we also ordered the most popular matcha drinks here, choosing the Blueberry Matcha Latte and Mango Matcha Latte with added fruit, as well as the Maniac Match featuring 10 grams of rich matcha flavor. For a simple snack, we also ordered the Egg Sando and Chicken Caprese Sandwich to taste a variety of menus.
The Blueberry Matcha Latte combines the refreshing blueberry puree with matcha, creating a sweet yet balanced flavor. The aroma of blueberry lingers pleasantly after sipping, making for a delightful experience. The Mango Matcha Latte features the rich and sweet taste of mango that blends smoothly with matcha, giving an overall fresh and tropical feel, with fruity notes that perfectly match the summer vibe. Both drinks are visually appealing, adding to the enjoyment, and they are perfect for sipping like a dessert. Despite being a latte, it doesn’t contain too much milk, allowing the fruit flavors to shine through, making it a light and enjoyable choice. The Maniac Match, with its impressive 10g of matcha powder, delivers a distinctly rich and deep flavor, but the balance of milk and ice makes it easy to enjoy without feeling overwhelmed. It has a much thicker consistency than typical matcha drinks, and the unique nutty aroma of matcha lingers, making it a satisfying option for matcha lovers. Personally, as someone who enjoys matcha drinks, I found this one particularly to my taste, and with each sip, the true flavor of matcha was distinctly present, which was very satisfying.
The Egg Sando is a sandwich filled with a generous amount of egg salad, offering a soft and moist texture. It’s not overly stimulating and has a good overall balance, making it a great option for a light meal. It’s perfect for when you want a simple, no-fuss meal. The Chicken Caprese Sandwich harmonizes chicken, mozzarella cheese, tomatoes, and basil pesto, providing a fresh yet hearty flavor. The aroma of pesto is strong even before taking a bite, and as soon as you do, the savory chicken, refreshing tomatoes, and creamy cheese blend together, filling your mouth with flavor. The harmony of texture and taste makes it a suitable option for a meal.
