During lunch hours, it tends to get busy, so it’s a good idea to place your order in advance and pick it up at the right time. On this day, we ordered The Larry Mantle, The Audie Cornish, House Cooler, and Watermelon Soft Serve.
First, The Larry Mantle caught my eye with its packed filling and appetizing appearance as soon as I opened the box. It was a sandwich that made a strong impression from the first bite, with a subtly spicy and salty balance that kept me reaching for more. The bread and filling complemented each other well, creating an excellent harmony of flavors overall, and the accompanying sauce added a tanginess that enhanced the taste. If you’re looking for a hearty yet not boring sandwich, this is definitely a must-try. The Audie Cornish, despite its relatively simple composition, showcased an unexpected harmony. The balance of sweet and salty flavors in the crispy baguette was impressive, and the gently spreading honey butter flavor wrapped the overall taste smoothly. The combination of ham and cheese is classic, but the unique sauce added a twist that kept it from being monotonous. Personally, I found it even more delicious than The Larry Mantle, but it’s worth noting that the use of baguette might make the bread feel a bit tougher.
The Watermelon Soft Serve had a refreshing appearance that was perfect for hot weather. The clean sweetness of the watermelon was well-preserved, and its smooth texture made it a light dessert to enjoy as a finishing touch. It felt refreshing in the mouth, and even though I initially thought the portion was large, I ended up finishing it without leaving any behind. The House Cooler was a drink that immediately struck me with its fresh fruit aroma and the zesty flavor of lemon from the first sip. It was pleasantly refreshing without being overwhelming, making it a great drink to pair with the heavy sandwiches.
