Located in San Marino, Chapresso is a café that brews tea using the Tifresso method, offering a variety of beverages that provide unique flavors and enjoyment by adding various toppings to their signature tea base.
Here, you can easily place your order at a kiosk, and the indoor seating is cozy and decorated in a minimalist style. However, there are many spacious tables outside, making it a great place to enjoy a drink outdoors on a nice day. We ordered several types of tea, including Phoenix Oolong Milk Tea, Strawberry Hibiscus Tea, Mango Slush, and Mango Green Tea, adding various toppings like Honey Boba and Lychee Jelly.
The Phoenix Oolong Milk Tea is a drink with a rich and deep flavor base of oolong tea, enhanced by the addition of smooth milk, and adding Honey Boba made it even more satisfying. The Strawberry Hibiscus Tea boasts a refreshing and clean taste with a delightful blend of strawberries and herbs, making it particularly suitable for hot weather. The Mango Green Tea offers a balanced flavor with the clean taste of green tea harmonizing with the sweetness of mango, and pairing it with Lychee Jelly adds a refreshing touch for an even richer flavor. The slight bitterness of the green tea and the sweetness of the mango create a delightful balance, refreshing the palate. The Mango Slush is a slushy version of Mango Green Tea, where the clean taste of green tea and the sweetness of mango blend with ice, resulting in a cool and smooth texture. It’s great to choose between tea or slush based on your preference.
The drinks here are much lighter and cleaner than other beverages, likely due to the tea base. I chose to reduce the sweetness of all the drinks to 50%, and they felt less sweet compared to other places. The moderate sweetness enhances the natural flavor of the tea, allowing for a guilt-free enjoyment.
