Courage Bagels

Housemade Bagels & Sandwiches

Courage Bagels is one of the famous bagel shops and is so popular that there is always a long line. If you don’t go early, you’ll have to wait a long time, so I make it a point to get up early when I visit this bagel shop. It is open from 7 AM to 2 PM, and it’s good to note that it is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

I love the bagel sandwiches here so much that I’ve visited several times, and on this day, I ordered the Run It Thru The Garden, Hand Sliced Smoked Salmon, and Crunch California, along with drinks of Fresh Iced Mint Tea and Iced Americano. You can choose the bagel sandwich in Whole or Half, and you can also select the type of bagel. While waiting for my order, the drinks came out first, and the iced Americano was perfect for my brother, who enjoys coffee with acidity. The mint tea had a slightly bland yet refreshing taste, making it a drink I order every time I visit.

The Run It Thru The Garden is a sandwich that harmonizes fresh cucumber, tomato, and onion, and the freshness of the vegetables blends well with the nuttiness of the bagel, making it one of my personal favorites. If you’re looking to eat something healthy and packed with veggies, I highly recommend this bagel sandwich. The Hand Sliced Smoked Salmon features soft and flavorful smoked salmon, with the rich taste of the salmon melting in your mouth. The onions, tomatoes, and dill on top of the salmon complement it well, creating a rich and clean flavor with fresh ingredients. If you love smoked salmon, this is a must-try menu item. For reference, this bagel sandwich pairs best with the Sea Salt Sesame bagel.

The Crunch California is a sandwich topped with almond butter and strawberry jam, which is more like a dessert than a meal. The combination of nutty almond butter and sweet strawberry jam creates an irresistible flavor, making it perfect for dessert. If you enjoy a rich and dense style, I definitely recommend trying it.
