Modern Cafe with Coffee & Desserts
Artis Coffee is a newly opened cafe in Buena Park that attracts many visitors with its variety of coffees and desserts. Thanks to its stylish interior and spacious layout, it’s a great place to relax, making it worth a visit if you’re in the area.
This was my second visit to Artis Coffee, and there were many new menu items since my last visit, so I decided to focus on those this time. For drinks, I chose the Pistachio Latte, Cream Top Biscoff Latte, and Bacchus Ade, along with matcha options like Uji Matcha Latte, Double Matcha Latte, and Dirty Matcha Latte. For desserts, I ordered a variety including Honey Butter Stick with Matcha Cream & Nutella, Strawberry Matcha Croffle, Biscoff Croffle, and Dubai Chocolate Croffle.
The Pistachio Latte had a strong nutty flavor from the first sip, blending well with the latte base for a smooth finish that lingered in my mind. The Cream Top Biscoff Latte was like a dessert with its sweet cream topped with a generous amount of Biscoff, creating a rich and satisfying flavor when combined with the smooth latte. Bacchus Ade was refreshing and clean, with a fizzy carbonation that complemented the unique Bacchus aroma, making it particularly well-suited to enjoy with sweet desserts. The Matcha series had distinct characteristics, making it fun to compare them. The Uji Matcha Latte had the rich flavor of matcha without any muddiness, making it an excellent basic option. The Double Matcha Latte was even richer and deeper in flavor, perfect for those who prefer strong matcha. The Dirty Matcha Latte impressed with the harmony of espresso and matcha, balancing bitterness with smoothness for a unique appeal. Personally, I found the Uji Matcha Latte to be my favorite among the Matcha series.
All the desserts had their own unique personalities, but the Honey Butter Stick with Matcha Cream & Nutella stood out to me. The outside was crispy and sweet, while the inside was soft, topped with nutty matcha powder and sweet Nutella. Dipping it in matcha cream and Nutella cream intensified the flavor. The Croffles had a delightful crispy exterior and chewy interior, with different toppings giving each menu item a distinct character. The Strawberry Matcha Croffle combined the freshness of strawberries with the bitterness of matcha, and its beautiful colors made it visually appealing. The Biscoff Croffle had a pronounced cinnamon aroma and crunchy texture, while the Dubai Chocolate Croffle featured rich chocolate topped with crispy kadaif noodles, satisfying both in texture and appearance, with its rich sweetness likely to be popular among chocolate lovers. Personally, I found the Dubai Chocolate Croffle so delicious that I highly recommend it.
