Fall Limited Edition
To taste the fall seasonal limited menu, I revisited the spacious and stylish Bacio di Latte Beverly Hills location, which still felt relaxed and comfortable, blending subtly with the autumn atmosphere. This time, I wanted to try the Fall Limited-Edition menu item, Maple Cashew Brittle, so I ordered it. Perhaps because it is gelato made with organic milk and cream, the first spoonful delivered a smooth and warm sweetness that spread gently. The gelato, with a cozy maple aroma, was complemented by pieces of caramelized cashew brittle, adding a crunchy texture, and each bite harmoniously combined sweetness and nuttiness. It was a menu item that truly showcased the charm of autumn desserts without being overly sweet, yet rich and warm in flavor.

Additionally, I was quite impressed by the affogato I enjoyed with espresso last time, so I was curious to see how the newly introduced Matcha Affogato would taste and ordered it as well. I chose Salted Caramel and Sweet Cream for the gelato, and the rich bitterness of the matcha naturally layered with the two gelatos. The Salted Caramel added a subtle saltiness that deepened the matcha flavor, while the Sweet Cream wrapped everything smoothly, giving a polished finish to the overall taste. Each spoonful mixed differently, making it more fun, and it had a different charm compared to the espresso affogato.
Bacio di Latte (Beverly Hills)
This visit beautifully combined Bacio di Latte’s signature creamy texture with the allure of the autumn limited menu. The Maple Cashew Brittle is so well-crafted that it would be a shame to miss it as a seasonal item, and the Matcha Affogato, which offers a different charm from the espresso, allows for new combinations depending on the gelato selection, making it highly recommendable. If you’re planning to visit the Beverly Hills location, why not try this autumn menu?
Summer Sensation Cocco Rio
The newly opened Bacio di Latte location in Beverly Hills impressed with its much larger space and relaxed seating arrangement compared to other branches. Both the indoor and outdoor terrace seating were stylishly and cozy decorated, making it a great place to enjoy gelato and unwind. The purpose of this visit was to taste the new summer menu item, ‘Cocco Rio’. Inspired by fresh coconuts enjoyed on the beaches of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, this menu features coconut gelato made with organic milk and cream, topped with smooth coconut cream and lightly toasted coconut flakes, allowing you to experience a refreshing and tropical flavor even in the summer heat.

During this visit, I enjoyed the new menu item Cocco Rio as an affogato. The smooth and creamy coconut gelato combined with espresso created a perfect harmony of nuttiness and a slightly bitter aroma. With each bite, the softness of the coconut cream and the flavor of the toasted coconut flakes met the deep taste of the espresso, allowing me to experience a different exotic charm compared to the traditional affogato. Additionally, the waffle cup was filled with refreshing Lampone (Raspberry Sorbet) and rich, smooth Cioccolato Belga (Belgian Chocolate), which I tasted together. The raspberry sorbet was impressive with its natural fruitiness and clean aftertaste, while the Belgian chocolate gelato had a rich cocoa flavor and a delightful texture. The two flavors, each with their own charm, combined with the crispy waffle cup, completed a satisfying dessert time until the very last bite.

Buttercream Pretzel & The Affogato Bar
I returned to this place to experience the newly launched Buttercream Pretzel and the deluxe affogato bar consisting of four special flavors. Given that this is a seasonal limited offering, my expectations were high, and the new dessert line I tasted was a special experience that fully met those expectations.

The Buttercream Pretzel had a delightful balance of sweet and salty flavors, with soft cream harmonizing beautifully with the crunchy pretzel. The texture was interesting thanks to the pretzel pieces that added a satisfying crunch, making each bite feel exciting. Personally, as someone who enjoys pretzels, I found it particularly satisfying, and it was refreshing to discover how well gelato and pretzels can pair together. The affogato bar consisted of four options: Affogato Crema & Biscotti, Affogato Caramello Salato, Affogato Crema Torino, and Affogato Pistacchio. We chose to taste Affogato Crema & Biscotti and Affogato Pistacchio. Affogato Crema & Biscotti featured rich espresso combined with smooth cream gelato and crunchy biscotti pieces, resulting in a classic yet well-balanced flavor. The bitterness of the espresso was complemented by the cream’s softness, creating an overall harmonious experience. Affogato Pistacchio was enjoyed by pouring espresso over the nutty pistachio gelato, leaving a strong impression with the deep flavor of the nuts mingling with the espresso’s bitterness. The lingering nuttiness was more pronounced than sweetness, making it a particularly satisfying option for pistachio lovers.
As a seasonal limited dessert, this experience allowed me to appreciate a different charm compared to the existing gelato. Thanks to the combination of smoothness, nuttiness, and the rich flavor of coffee, I was able to enjoy a dessert time that felt even more special than usual. This visit, enriched by the addition of the affogato bar, was delightful, so if you want to spend some sweet time, why not stop by Bacio di Latte?
Charming Gelato Shop
Bacio di Latte is a brand that makes gelato in-house every day using traditional Italian methods, using only the finest ingredients such as organic milk and cream, Italian nuts, and fresh fruits from local California farms. Recently, they opened a new location in LA Sawtelle, making authentic gelato available in even more areas.

As soon as I stepped into the store, I felt like I had entered another world. The charming decorations and warm lighting created a cozy and lovely atmosphere, reminiscent of a small dessert shop in Europe. First, you choose your preferred style from Cup, Ciocchino, or Waffle Bowl, and then select the gelato to fill it with. We opted for a Regular cup, which could hold up to three different flavors of gelato.

In the first cup, I chose three flavors: 3 Cioccolati, Yogurt & Amarena, and Acai. The 3 Cioccolati is a blend of three chocolates: 60% cocoa, 70% cocoa, and stracciatella, creating a rich and deep flavor with a smooth texture that highlights the unique bitterness of chocolate. Yogurt & Amarena combines soft yogurt with refreshing cherries, leaving a clean and fresh impression overall. The subtle acidity of the yogurt pairs well with the sweet cherry syrup, balancing the heavier flavors. Acai is a newly released flavor that offers a rich and healthy taste, preserving the natural flavor of the fruit. The sweetness is complemented by a gentle bitterness, making it light and refreshing.
For the second cup, I selected Caffè & Caramellate, Mousse di Pistacchio, and Fragola. Caffè & Caramellate is a classic Italian combination with a strong coffee aroma enriched with caramel. The initial taste is smooth and sweet, but the finish reveals the subtle bitterness of espresso, creating a nice balance. If you love both coffee and caramel, this is a must-try combination. Mousse di Pistacchio features gelato made with Italian pistachios, enhanced with pistachio pieces and crunchy pistachio cream, satisfying both in texture and flavor. The nutty and rich taste fills your mouth, making it irresistible for pistachio lovers. Fragola is a refreshing strawberry sorbet made from fresh strawberries grown at the Tamai farm in California, bursting with intense strawberry flavor with just one bite. Its light and cool taste makes it enjoyable on its own or harmonizes well with other flavors, making it perfect for a finishing touch.
Bacio di Latte (Sawtelle)
Personally, I would especially recommend Yogurt & Amarena, Mousse di Pistacchio, and Fragola as they were particularly delicious. At Bacio di Latte, you can enjoy a variety of combinations from rich gelato to refreshing sorbet. Stop by when you need a sweet break.
