Farmers and Food Vendors
In this post, I would like to introduce the Hollywood Farmers’ Market, the largest in LA, where over 160 farmers, producers, and food vendors gather to showcase a variety of crops grown seasonally across the state.
The Hollywood Farmers’ Market operates every Sunday from 8 AM to 1 PM, and every time I go, I feel like it attracts a huge crowd.
The market is filled with fresh vegetables and fruits, nuts, flowers, meats, breads, and even food trucks. One of the highlights is that you can sample the fruits. Usually, when I buy fruits at the supermarket, I often end up with ones that don’t taste good, but here, vendors have prepared fruits in containers for tasting, which makes it easy to buy what you like. This also shows their confidence in the quality of their products.
Some vendors I would recommend are the berries from Pudwill Berry Farms. The raspberries, blueberries, and blackberries are all plump and sweet, making it a must-buy every time I visit. I also love the yogurt and hummus from Aris Foods, and I always buy a variety of flavors when I go. Additionally, I recommend the coffee from little lamb, desserts from eat domi, BBQ plates from Aloha Hawai’i, onigiri and dango from Tsunagi grill, and tiramisu from bluey & co—all of which are delicious. I believe the Hollywood Farmers’ Market is a place where you can experience all these flavors and the vibrant atmosphere in one spot.
