Lido Marina Village
With the heat in LA getting noticeably hotter, more people are heading to the beach, and we decided to visit Newport Beach, where we can enjoy various water sports like surfing, swimming, kayaking, and paddle boarding. One of the places I wanted to introduce if you go to Newport Beach is Lido Marina Village, which has a charming collection of restaurants and shops where you can enjoy brunch and shop, and there’s a harbor nearby where you can also admire beautiful boats.
Even in the early morning, we could see many people enjoying their leisure time at cafes or shopping. We spent some time shopping and strolling before moving towards the Newport Beach shoreline.

Pirate’s Cove
One of the points in Newport Beach shaped like a small island surrounded by cliffs is Pirate’s Cove, which has calm waves, making it a great place for families to visit and enjoy water activities or just spend time looking at the beach.
In front of the beach, there were people tanning and enjoying water activities, and behind them, many were engaging in various water sports like yachting and kayaking. Seeing everyone enjoying their leisure time in different ways under the blue sky made us decide to come back for water activities again this summer.
Pirate’s Cove
Inspiration Point
If you walk for about 10 minutes from Pirate’s Cove Beach Point, you will reach Inspiration Point, where you can enjoy an open sea view and admire the beautiful houses around the beach. There is also a path next to the point that connects to the beach, making it easy to go down.
Looking out at the open sea from Inspiration Point, I was able to clear my complicated thoughts, even if just for a moment. Also, it is said that Inspiration Point boasts another fantastic view at sunset, so those who want to see the sunset scenery might want to visit at the right time.
