A Ramen Spot in Chino
Located in Chino, Tokido Craft Ramen is a place where you can enjoy a variety of ramen along with several types of rice bowl menus.
We arrived around 6 PM, and the place was already bustling with people enjoying their dinner. The restaurant was on the smaller side, but it had both indoor and outdoor tables, and the turnover was quick, allowing us to sit down without waiting. Since we were quite hungry, we quickly scanned the menu and placed our order. We chose Takoyaki and Spicy Fried Chicken as appetizers, and for the main dishes, we ordered Toki Butter & Corn Ramen and Toki Chicken Katsu Curry Rice Bowl, along with Iced Passionfruit Green Tea and Iced Lychee Green Tea for drinks.
Shortly after placing our order, the drinks and appetizers arrived first. The Takoyaki was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the bonito flakes and mayonnaise on top created a harmonious flavor that was easy to enjoy. Next, the Spicy Fried Chicken had a spicy aroma before eating, which made me worry it might be too spicy, but fortunately, the spiciness came from the peppers on top, and the chicken itself had a mildly sweet and slightly spicy taste. If you want a stronger kick, you can enjoy it properly by eating it with the peppers on top.
The Toki Butter & Corn Ramen and Toki Chicken Katsu Curry Rice Bowl that followed looked delicious. The corn generously piled on top of the ramen was particularly eye-catching, and I was excited about the crispy coating of the chicken katsu combined with the rich curry sauce. The Toki Butter & Corn Ramen featured soft, plump noodles that blended well with the broth, and the rich, nutty flavor of the butter infused into the soup added a deep taste. The corn added sweetness and enhanced the texture, creating a satisfying harmony overall. Personally, I love the taste of butter, but if you prefer not to have a greasy flavor, there are various spicy ramen options available, so you can choose according to your taste. The Toki Chicken Katsu Curry Rice Bowl was served with crispy on the outside and tender on the inside chicken, along with deep and rich curry that soaked into the rice at just the right consistency, allowing for a harmonious flavor experience.
