All About Pho

Casual Eatery for Vietnamese Dishes

All About Pho, located in Cerritos, is a Vietnamese restaurant I revisited after a long time. The vibrant atmosphere was impressive, with many guests still frequenting the place, making it a great spot to enjoy a meal in a casual setting. I returned because I had a good impression during my first visit, and once again, I was able to enjoy a variety of dishes satisfactorily. This time, I ordered Parmesan Garlic Chicken Wings, Phở Tái Wagyu Carpaccio, Prime Ribeye Steak Garlic Noodles, along with Vietnamese Coffee and Autumn Dream. The selection included a diverse range from appetizers to main dishes and drinks, and each menu item had its own distinct character.

The Parmesan Garlic Chicken Wings had an impressive crispy texture, and the flavors of garlic and Parmesan cheese blended naturally, making it a dish I kept reaching for. The outside was crispy while the inside remained moist, and it was fun to enjoy it with the three sauces provided: Ahi Verde, Spicy Mayo, and Honey Sriracha, according to my preference. Each sauce showcased a different charm, allowing me to enjoy it without getting tired of it until the end. The Phở Tái Wagyu Carpaccio completed an impressive bowl with its rich broth and tender Wagyu. The thinly sliced Wagyu had a particularly soft texture, and the addition of fresh herbs made it even more refreshing. Adding lime enhanced the flavors, and it blended naturally with the deep and rich broth. The broth itself was also satisfying with its rich umami and deep flavors, allowing me to enjoy it until the last sip.

The Prime Ribeye Steak Garlic Noodles exceeded my expectations as well. The Ribeye Steak was cooked to perfection, rich in flavor, and paired with garlic noodles, it was even more satisfying. The noodles absorbed the savory flavor of garlic, and the combination with the steak was excellent. Overall, it felt like a hearty yet easy-to-enjoy dish, and the tender texture of the meat was also impressive. Additionally, the Garlic Noodles could be chosen with Prawn or in a Virgin style, making it appealing to enjoy according to one’s taste. The Vietnamese Coffee and Autumn Dream I ordered as drinks were also impressive. The Vietnamese Coffee had a distinct rich coffee flavor, while the Autumn Dream felt lighter and more refreshing, making it a good accompaniment to the meal. They blended well with the flavors of the main dishes, naturally continuing the flow of the overall dining experience.

All About Pho

All About Pho was a place where I could enjoy a satisfying meal even on a return visit. From the rich broth of the pho to the tender meat on the garlic noodles, crispy wings, and drinks, the overall quality felt high. I could naturally sense why so many people flock here, and if you’re looking to enjoy a comfortable meal in a casual atmosphere, I would recommend stopping by at least once for a delicious meal.

Modern Vietnamese Eatery with Traditional Pho

Located in Cerritos, All About Pho offers pho made with a deep and rich broth that has been carefully simmered for 48 hours using high-quality beef bones. Sticking to fresh ingredients and traditional cooking methods, you can experience a special pho that harmonizes rich flavors with a clean taste. We visited the Cerritos location, but there is also a branch in Fullerton, so it might be a good idea to choose the one closest to you.

We visited around 2 PM after lunch hours, and the place was still bustling with many people, which made me realize its popularity. Nevertheless, the restaurant was spacious with plenty of seating, allowing us to sit down immediately without waiting, and the staff’s quick and friendly service made ordering and service very smooth. We tried a variety of pho and appetizers, including Tet Pho Steak & Eggs, Pho Xe Lua, Roasted Bone Marrow as an appetizer, and drinks Golden Snake and Matcha Coconut.

Tet Pho Steak & Eggs is a seasonal menu item featuring a Ribeye steak that has been dry-aged for 45 days, served with a poached egg, and I believe it offered one of the most luxurious flavors I’ve ever experienced in pho. The Ribeye steak was tender and showcased deep flavors, and you could pair it with three different sauces according to your preference. The poached egg added a rich umami flavor to the broth when mixed with the noodles. On the other hand, Pho Xe Lua is the restaurant’s bestseller, where various cuts of meat harmoniously come together, allowing you to enjoy both the fun of chewing and a variety of textures. The generous portions and traditional charm made this typical pho style impressive.

Roasted Bone Marrow was an appetizer I encountered for the first time, and it was an attractive dish that piqued my curiosity from its visual appeal. It stood out with its rich and nutty flavor, and it paired well with the crispy toasted bread. The soft texture and deep taste of the marrow blended perfectly with the toast, making it very satisfying. The Golden Snake drink we ordered was a seasonal item that harmoniously combined kumquat tea, coconut water, and lime juice, offering a refreshing yet subtly sweet flavor that made for a clean and invigorating experience throughout. Matcha Coconut was an exotic drink that combined a premium matcha blend with coconut juice, resulting in a rich matcha flavor that smoothly melded with the natural sweetness of coconut, leaving a clean yet sweet aftertaste that lingered.
