Charming Boba Shop with Surprise Cup
Boba Friend, located in Monrovia, is a charming café with a cute interior decorated with adorable character dolls. With a variety of bubble tea options and a surprise cup, it’s a place where you can enjoy both the visual delight and the pleasure of drinking.
During this Christmas season, you can see many trees everywhere, and the cute tree decorated with Hello Kitty inside the store was truly adorable. The menu we ordered included Dreamy Strawberry, Mango Lychee Refresher, and for the surprise cup, we chose Brown Sugar Boba Milk Tea.
First, the Dreamy Strawberry was a menu item featuring a smoothly blended strawberry cream smoothie with fresh strawberry pieces added. The harmony between the creamy base and the strawberries was excellent, providing a delightful satisfaction with every sip. Especially, the strawberry pieces that you chew at the end added a refreshing touch, making the flavor enjoyable until the last drop. The Mango Lychee Refresher was a refreshing green tea lemonade with mango jelly and lychee jelly, characterized by its cool and refreshing taste. The sweet flavors of mango and lychee blended well with the lemonade, and the chewy texture of the jelly added fun to the drink.
Finally, the Brown Sugar Boba Milk Tea is a classic drink that combines rich brown sugar syrup with smooth milk tea, known for its sweet yet deep flavor. The tapioca pearls are chewy and absorb the brown sugar syrup, filling your mouth with a rich sweetness with every sip. This drink was chosen as a surprise cup, and each cup contains a cute character doll, heightening the anticipation of which doll will come out. For reference, the cup we chose had a pink character doll as seen in the second photo.
