In this post, I would like to introduce Descanso Gardens, filled with tulips. This place offers a variety of natural landscapes, including beautiful flowers, plants, trees, ponds, and streams, providing a peaceful retreat for many visitors, as well as hosting various events and exhibitions throughout the year. In spring, the tulips are in full bloom, and in autumn, you can see the trees adorned with beautiful fall colors.
Descanso Gardens is currently open from 9 AM to 7 PM, and tickets can be purchased in advance on the website.
We headed straight to the area with the tulips, where most people were gathered. Descanso Gardens reportedly planted 30,000 tulips in January, and perhaps that’s why the garden was filled with tulips of various colors, making it incredibly beautiful. Many people were taking pictures with professional cameras to capture the beauty of these tulips. Even though it was a bit chilly due to the rain the day before, seeing these lovely tulips made it feel like spring had truly arrived.
On the Descanso Gardens website, you can check which flowers bloom each month, and since tulips can be seen until early April, it would be best to visit as soon as possible.
