Loop Espresso Club, located in Eagle Rock, is a café inspired by espresso bars in Tokyo, featuring a minimal yet cozy and warm atmosphere.
This café is actually my second visit; during my first visit, I came in the afternoon and was disappointed to find it too crowded with no available seats. This time, I arrived around 9 AM, and although it was still busy, it was much more relaxed than in the afternoon, making it a great time to enjoy coffee.
We ordered the signature menu item, Miel Cream Top, one of the espresso options, Espresso Black Sesame, and the tempting Almond Croissant. First, the Miel Cream Top caught my eye with its elegant and luxurious appearance. The moment the smooth cream touched my mouth, it melted effortlessly, revealing the hidden coffee beneath, creating a harmonious blend of sweetness and bitterness in the aftertaste. The Espresso Black Sesame was visually unique with black sesame sprinkled on top of the espresso. The first sip revealed the rich and bitter flavor of the espresso, followed by the nutty essence of the black sesame gradually spreading in my mouth, complementing the coffee beautifully. This drink seems to offer a unique twist for those who regularly enjoy espresso.
Finally, the Almond Croissant, topped generously with almonds, whetted my appetite even before taking a bite. The first bite revealed the crispy texture of the croissant, while the inside was spread with almond cream, providing a sweet yet deep flavor. The almond slices added a nutty texture with every bite, making it a perfect pairing with coffee.
