Matcha-Centric Cafe
Located in Koreatown, Cafe Memorylook is a space where you can enjoy a variety of drinks and desserts, especially known for its delicious Matcha Einspänner. We visited around 10 AM, and it was already bustling with people, showcasing the cafe’s popularity.
With ample seating both indoors and outdoors, you can enjoy a leisurely time in the quiet interior or savor a cup of coffee while feeling the sunshine outside. The menu is so diverse that after much deliberation, we decided to order the most famous Matcha Einspänner, Green Tangerine Ade, and Original Crepe Cake.
First, the Matcha Einspänner offered an impressive taste from the very first sip, with the deep flavor of rich green tea harmonizing beautifully with the smooth cream. The unique bitterness of matcha blended seamlessly with the nutty cream, resulting in a clean yet rich flavor that was perfectly balanced, allowing the matcha aroma to shine through until the end. The Green Tangerine Ade was a refreshing drink that looked inviting, with the tangy sourness and slight bitterness of the green tangerine stimulating the taste buds. The subtle sweetness and refreshing carbonation made it an especially fitting choice for a hot day. The Original Crepe Cake featured thin layers of crepe filled with soft cream that melted in the mouth, creating a delightful texture. Its sweet yet light flavor made it a perfect dessert to enjoy alongside coffee or tea without feeling heavy.
