Tokushima Ramen in Little Tokyo
There are many ramen shops in Little Tokyo, but one that I highly recommend is Men Oh Tokushima Ramen. I have visited this ramen shop quite a few times, and it has always been delicious without fail.

Inside the restaurant, there is a division between the tables and the bar, and since there were many people at the table area that day, we sat at the bar. We ordered Tokushima Ramen, Shoyu Ramen, and Karaage – Mayo Sauce. First, the appetizer, Karaage – Mayo Sauce, was served, and you can choose between Mayo Sauce and Sesame Sauce according to your preference. The Karaage is Japanese-style fried chicken with a thin, crispy batter, and the chicken was moist and tender. It was even more delicious when paired with the savory mayo sauce.

Next, the Tokushima Ramen and Shoyu Ramen were served. The Tokushima Ramen is the signature ramen of this shop, made with a pork bone broth that has been simmered for 16 hours, which is why you can taste the deep flavor in the broth. Additionally, this ramen includes stir-fried pork belly along with Chasu, which can be thought of as thinly sliced, salty stir-fried pork belly. This meat pairs very well with the ramen, and I personally found it even more delicious than the Chasu.
Finally, the Shoyu Ramen is made with a light chicken broth enhanced with soy sauce, and it definitely had a lighter taste compared to the Tokushima Ramen. If you prefer a clear and light broth style over a thick one, I would recommend the Shoyu Ramen.
