Modern Coffee Shop Featuring Double Matcha
Located in Koreatown, Stagger Coffee is a newly opened café that is quickly gaining attention for its signature menu item, Double Matcha. With its stylish interior and a variety of drinks and pastries, it has become a beloved spot for visitors.
In fact, I wanted to visit the café as soon as it opened, but I delayed my visit due to reports of long lines because of its popularity. To avoid the wait, we arrived right at opening time, which allowed us to order immediately without any delay. However, people started to flock in behind us, and the line quickly grew, so it might be something to keep in mind when you visit. We ordered the most popular item, Double Matcha, along with Donut Latte, Stagger Tonic, and Blueberry Cream Cheese Muffin.
First up, the highly anticipated Double Matcha delivered a deep and rich matcha flavor, with the first sip filling my mouth with a bittersweet and nutty taste, finishing smoothly. I was worried it might be too heavy, but the cream was lighter than expected, making it easy to enjoy. It was so delicious that I ended up buying another cup to take with me when leaving the café. The Donut Latte was a drink that harmonized the rich flavor of espresso with the sweetness of vanilla, and the cream added a soft texture. The addition of cocoa powder made it feel almost like drinking cocoa, and overall, it wasn’t overly sweet, which was a plus. Among the three drinks, my brother said this was the best one.
The Stagger Tonic was a refreshing drink that combined the zesty and bubbly taste of espresso with tonic water, enhanced by the fragrant flavor of orange, providing a clean taste. The refreshing yet rich espresso flavor and orange aroma stood out, making it an attractive drink, and surprisingly, it was the sweetest among the three drinks. Lastly, the Blueberry Cream Cheese Muffin, which is not pictured but I highly recommend, paired the smooth cream cheese with blueberries perfectly, and the muffin itself was so moist and soft that every bite brought happiness. It’s an excellent companion to coffee or drinks, so I think you should definitely try it.
