Venice Beach Boardwalk
There are several beaches near LA, each with its own unique vibe and character. Among many beaches, Venice Beach stands out as one where you can feel a free atmosphere and overflowing energy, featuring the Venice Boardwalk, various shops, street performances, Muscle Beach, and the Venice Canals, making it one of the most enjoyable beaches.
When my parents visited LA, we also went to Venice Beach, and they were thrilled by the atmosphere that they couldn’t find in Korea. My younger sibling even said that whenever our parents go to LA, they must take them to Venice Beach, as the vibe there is unforgettable. I often visit Venice Beach, so it feels familiar to me, but it definitely has an exotic feel for those who come for the first time. Buying a cup of coffee and strolling along the Venice Boardwalk while checking out the shops and watching skateboarders at the skate park makes time fly by.

If you visit Venice Beach, another place I would like to introduce is the Venice Canals. It’s about a 10-minute walk from Venice Beach, but parking near the canals can be tricky, so if you’ve already parked near Venice Beach, I recommend walking there and back.
The Venice Canals are said to replicate the look and feel of Venice, Italy. Although it’s a short walking path, it offers a different charm. The surrounding houses are beautiful, and the scenery is picturesque, making it a great spot for photos, so if you go to Venice Beach, it would be nice to stop by.
