All You Can Eat Sushi
X-Fish Izakaya is a premium all-you-can-eat sushi & izakaya restaurant located in Buena Park, where you can enjoy unlimited fresh sushi and sashimi, as well as rolls, various types of ramen, and udon. Thanks to its generous offerings and clean quality, it is particularly popular among sushi lovers, and it’s a great place to enjoy a filling meal at a good value by tasting a variety of dishes as much as you want.

We visited the restaurant around 8:30 PM, and even at that time, we could see many people gathered to enjoy sushi, which made us realize the popularity of this place. The menu was divided into three categories: Lunch X Fish, Signature, and Omakase, and we decided to try the Omakase. We were excited to experience a more diverse and high-quality menu recommended by the chef. We also ordered some sashimi, hand rolls, yakiyaki udon, and croquettes as additional items. It was fun to choose and enjoy various dishes according to our preferences alongside the basic offerings.

First, the Omakase was served with a variety of sushi, and its stunning visuals caught our attention even before we started eating. Each piece of sushi was carefully topped with ingredients, and the freshness was evident in every bite. Overall, everything was delicious, but personally, I was particularly impressed by the Scallop and Beef sushi. The Scallop had a soft and sweet flavor, while the Beef melted in my mouth with a smoky aroma, reminiscent of enjoying a high-quality steak in one bite. The sashimi also felt fresh overall, and the thickness was just right for a good texture. Among them, the Tuna and Salmon were especially tasty; the tuna was clean and tender without any fishy smell, and the salmon had just the right amount of fat, making it rich and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Despite its simple composition, the natural flavors of the ingredients were well preserved, which was satisfying.
The various side dishes were also not to be missed; the Crab Cream Croquette had a crispy exterior and a rich cream and crab meat filling that was smooth and savory. The yakiyaki udon had chewy noodles, and the sauce was not overly salty but had a deep umami flavor that made it hard to stop eating. In the middle of the meal, we were also served chicken skewers to taste, which had a slight charred smoky flavor on the outside and were moist and well-cooked on the inside, providing a very pleasant texture. The soy sauce-based glaze was applied just right, enhancing the natural flavor of the meat while adding umami. It was so delicious that I regretted only picking up two skewers.

Despite being an All You Can Eat, it was impressive that the dishes were served one by one in an omakase style with great care, and considering the overall composition and quality, I was very satisfied. The amount of sushi rice was not excessive, so I didn’t get full too quickly, and I particularly enjoyed being able to slowly savor a variety of menu items. If you are looking for a place where you can enjoy an unlimited selection of various types of sushi, sashimi, and side dishes, be sure to check out X-Fish Izakaya.
