Cha Redefine, which has newly opened in San Gabriel following Koreatown, is a dessert cafe where you can enjoy a variety of tea-based drinks, desserts, and pastries together. The overall modern yet minimalistic atmosphere was impressive, and it was pleasant to enjoy drinks and desserts in the clean space.
During this visit, I ordered Cha Cha Lychee Rice, Cheese Hojicha Jelly Latte, Mango Passion Chill, Mochi Taro along with Coconut Ice Cream, Matcha Ice Cream, and the House Special Smoky Bacon Parmesan Croissant. With a diverse selection of drinks, desserts, and pastries, it was easy to enjoy a variety of options according to my taste.
Cha Cha Lychee Rice was light and enjoyable with the subtle sweetness and soft texture of lychee, while the Cheese Hojicha Jelly Latte combined the nutty and deep flavor of hojicha with a creamy cheese foam, creating a smooth experience. The jelly inside added a textural point, making it feel less monotonous. The Mango Passion Chill was refreshing and enjoyable with the tanginess of mango and passion fruit at its core. Mochi Taro was a drink that could be lightly enjoyed like a dessert, with the unique subtle sweetness of taro and a chewy texture.
For dessert, I tried the Coconut Ice Cream and Matcha Ice Cream together. The Coconut Ice Cream had a smooth and clean coconut flavor that was impressive, while the Matcha Ice Cream balanced the bitterness and rich flavor of matcha, making it easy to enjoy as a dessert. The House Special Smoky Bacon Parmesan Croissant showcased a crispy pastry texture enhanced by the flavors of bacon and parmesan cheese, offering a savory and hearty taste. It contrasted well with the sweet dessert options and was great for enjoying as a meal.

Cha Redefine has newly opened in Koreatown, offering a wide range of teas, coffees, and even boba drinks. With its stylish interior, it provides a space to leisurely enjoy beverages, making it a must-visit for tea lovers.
The indoor space here wasn’t very large, but thanks to the efficiently arranged seating, it felt quite spacious. There were also tables outside, making it a great spot to enjoy drinks leisurely on nice days. The menu we ordered included Blueberry Oat Milk Matcha Latte, Coco Strawberry, Taro Taro, and Mochi Mango, each offering a different charm, making it fun to choose. In particular, the Blueberry Oat Milk Matcha Latte was a recommended item from the staff, which heightened my expectations and curiosity about its flavor.
The Blueberry Oat Milk Matcha Latte had a deep and slightly bitter flavor characteristic of matcha from the very first sip, with a subtle sweetness from the blueberries that created a nice overall balance. Thanks to the nuttiness and smooth texture of the oat milk, it had a mild taste, and the blend of blue and green colors was visually appealing. The harmony contained in this one drink was quite impressive. The Coco Strawberry was a drink where the freshness of strawberries blended smoothly with the creaminess of avocado smoothie, allowing for a sweet enjoyment from the first sip. The coconut milk wrapped the overall flavor gently, creating a good harmony, while the chewy jelly texture felt like a delightful highlight. Personally, it was the most satisfying drink I had that day.
Taro Taro was a drink that featured a generous amount of thick taro paste, leaving a strong impression with its rich nuttiness. The classic black tea base combined with smooth milk created an overall soft and comforting taste, while the brown sugar boba added a fun chewiness and sweetness. Mochi Mango was a drink that stood out with its interesting texture, combining refreshing mango with handmade mochi. The mochi had a soft, rice-drink-like flavor, and the slight heaviness of that taste was well balanced by the freshness of the mango, resulting in an overall harmonious drink. The impressive combination of flavors naturally piqued my curiosity about other menu items like Mochi Taro or Mochi Berry.
